Science funding in stimulus bill

The stimulus bill Congress finalized this week includes $21.5 billion for scientific research. Under the plan, the National Institutes of Health would received $10.4 billion; the National Science Foundation, $3 billion; and the Department of Energy, $1.6 billion.
