GRANT Act of 2011
A bill introduced in the U.S. House (H.R. 3433) calls for the posting of all funded proposals to the Web, as well as the publication of name of peer reviewers for grant programs, among other provisions. The bill is sponsored by Darrell Issa (R-CA) and James Lankford (R-OK). Some university associations have voiced concerns about the legislation. Click the headline to see the legislation. Visit the website of the Council on Government Relations to read the joint letter is has submitted with AAU and APLU outlining these concerns.
